PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A family business required assistance with transitioning responsibility of the business from the current to the next generation in a process driven and step-by-step manner to prevent disturbance to the business.

SOLUTION:
To assist with this transition, TriChambers worked with both the previous and the incoming generation to first ensure alignment amongst the leadership on business objectives and its survival. Post which, a handover plan for the next 5 years was created which ironed out the responsibilities and the training that the incoming generation required each year. The plan also focused on identifying an exit plan for the exiting generation in a smooth manner which would ensure periodic involvement and strategic intervention

IMPACT:
As an outcome of the plan, the transition process is ensuring active involvement of the incoming generation, smooth transfer of key roles and relationships, incremental changes to the business to suit the incoming generation’s vision, as well as maintenance of family relationships despite situational conflicts

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
An exports manufacturing company required assistance with developing a targeted marketing strategy that also ensured reduced sample development cost, as well as efficient marketing by gathering more comprehensive information about buyers.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers gathered export and import data of the relevant buyer groups, as well as the relevant and competing sellers and provided data across multiple factors including, most relevant unit price, key sellers, competing sellers, comparative order quantity, comparative order value, comparative market share, as well as next steps on the potential of the company.

IMPACT:
Analysis of such data helped the company gain awareness of the ecosystem they are in, identify the requirements of the buyers quantitatively, showcase relevant products to ensure buyer interests, and target those buyers that help them fulfil strategic objectives.

An urban planning family business consultancy owned by a married couple required assistance with transitioning the company post their divorce.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers ran a series of conversations simultaneously with both parties separately which focused on identifying each one’s personal aspirations, professional aspirations, as well as their aspirations for their company to help customise a solution that was financially, professionally, and personally viable for them in the long-term.

IMPACT:
As an outcome of the exercise, which spanned across months, both individuals were able to capitalise on the social and professional capital of the company in their individual career paths, to gain further growth in their work.

An exports company required assistance with expanding their product line and needed information that could help them with effective and efficient market entry and sales strategies.

SOLUTION:
Through the help of export and import data, TriChambers analysed information about the key buyers and sellers, as well as sellers at different stages of their growth to assess and map the key stakeholders. Additionally, information on factors such as order quantities, unit price, and market share were assessed and presented. With additional tacit knowledge of various company members, a market entry strategy was formulated.

IMPACT:
Through a data driven approach, the company’s preparations for the product expansion were cohesive both, internally with design and operations, as well as externally with respect to a pricing and marketing strategy.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A Mumbai-based fintech company required assistance with engaging and transitioning their work force post-COVID into an active, work from office team, while improving employee engagement levels for better business outcomes.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers administered an on-ground data collection exercise where approximately 900 employees were interviewed in focus groups and larger team/departmental groups over the course of 2 weeks. Post which, an online survey was circulated to the rest of the company with customised questionnaires for employees of different tenures, grades/levels, departments, and nature of role.

IMPACT:
The extensive nature of the data collection and collation exercise helped provide top management insights into different departments, as well as understand the core concerns that were impacting business outcomes across these departments, which further facilitated them in undertaking targeted and efficient action across teams.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A tech company required assistance with conducting market research and a feasibility study of the new legal tech product being developed by them. The requirement included suggestions on how to turn this new product into a financially successful company of its own that would capture the Indian legal tech market and eventually expand internationally.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers conducted primary, secondary, and tertiary research across various stakeholders in different parts of the country, from law firms to independent practitioners, as well as courts of different jurisdictions. The collated data included market sizing of the industry, pain points faced by different stakeholders, comprehensive competitor study of the Indian and international players in the industry, as well as an overview of the emerging tech in the legal sector.

IMPACT:
Based on the tacit and research-based understanding of the market, TriChambers formulated a market development strategy, product development strategy, and a sales strategy to help guide the company achieve its target of capturing the legal tech market by providing a comprehensive understanding of the legal ecosystem. The strategy also included ways for international expansion.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A niche consulting firm required a restructuring of their service delivery mechanism in order to achieve higher cost to revenue efficiencies, which were being impacted by a lack of internal coordination across the different aspects of their client servicing.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers assisted in developing internal SOPs that spanned the life cycle of service delivery, from the first connect made with the prospect, to post the successful closure of the project. The implementation of these SOPs spanned across business development efforts of the firm, client onboarding, and billing and invoicing, to project management and post project evaluation.

IMPACT:
This led to both, an increase in cost to revenue efficiencies and the consequent decrease in time taken to deliver quality service. It also allowed for increased bandwidth for bringing in and executing additional work.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A professional service firm required perception transformation of its senior leadership before both, internal and external audiences, to strengthen the company’s foundation, as well as to facilitate their business development efforts.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers strategised and implemented a perception strategy which focused on providing visibility to leaders as pioneers in their industry, showcasing the varied facets of their professional expertise and personal characteristics that collectively catered to all relevant stakeholders. The common theme of the deployed strategy encompassed defining the vision of the company and showcasing the relevance of the work achieved. Internally, this involved enabling an environment of open communication and discussion, and externally, executing targeted public relations practices. This included visibility across digital and mainstream media, as well as focused presence creation through conferences, and exclusive content dissemination, amongst other activities.

IMPACT:
The in-house strategy reasserted the vision of the company for the members and reiterated their relevance in the said vision which led to improved morale and consequent productivity. The external perception building efforts led to an eventual increase in the visibility of the firm and consequently, its revenues.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A professional services firm needed assistance with setting up a brand-new knowledge management vertical from start to finish in order to streamline the firm’s knowledge base and support its training and business development efforts.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers identified the optimum structure for the new team and ensured the successful onboarding and integration of the vertical with the existing departments at the firm. This exercise included structuring the department, recruiting the team, identifying KRAs, conducting trainings, and ensuring communication channels between the new department and existing verticals.

IMPACT:
The vertical now works independently and productively supports the organisation by making the firm’s knowledge available internally and externally. This has assisted members in improving their deliverables and undertaking targeted business development initiatives.  

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A social sector organisation required assistance with increasing the scale of a bespoke youth engagement initiative that they had pioneered and wanted to deploy in the public sphere.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers assisted with the reimagining of the programme to better suit the public sphere and has further assisted in its management during the first three years of its execution. Our key contributions included securing a strategic partnership for the programme with an international intergovernmental organisation, as well as hands on assistance with the pan India execution of the programme. Our execution assistance ranged from developing communication guidelines and increasing visibility, to the identification, selection and onboarding of all participants and facilitating the delivery of the programme content.

IMPACT:
The programme is now a year-on-year programme that has received global recognition and has established subsidiary programs in schools and colleges across India.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A boutique professional services firm was looking for performance management assistance in order to use their expansion plans as a catalyst for improving performance and countering performance-related challenges that usually emerge during expansions.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers assisted the firm in developing parameters and metrics for a holistic performance management and assessment mechanism that incorporated a decentralised system with periodic checks and balances. This involved redefining existing KRAs to incorporate assessments as a mainstay role requirement to allow for data collection, centralised assessments, self-appraisals, and interlinked performance-based incentives and increments.

IMPACT:
Our intervention resulted in lesser time being spent on managing performance related concerns, while at the same time, increasing the overall visibility of each member in order to ensure of transition during the expansion.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
An ed-tech start-up required incubation stage consulting on bullet-proofing their fundamentals in order to ensure strong positioning for their subsequent funding endeavours.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers undertook an extensive deep dive into their service offerings and provided them with an end-to-end company management manual along with a 10-year strategy plan detailing out the phases of their growth. This included details on the relevant verticals along with a product roadmap that would support their growth and future fund-raising initiatives, as well as initiatives to also ensure that their senior management would support the move towards self-sustainability of their venture.

IMPACT:
Our efforts have resulted in a lean structure and a low-cost base, allowing the company to reduce its burn rate without compromising on its pace of growth and consequently, dramatically increasing its ability to dilute lesser at higher valuation.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A prominent national chamber of commerce wanted to create and deploy a pan-India volunteer programme for their social initiatives aimed at both the rural and urban areas.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers studied their initiatives, conducted pilot programmes, prepared the on-boarding material, and successfully deployed the programme across the country. Our work involved preparing a feasibility report, structuring the reporting mechanism between the chamber and its volunteers, and advising on the changes needed in approach between different regions of the country as well as between rural and urban areas. We also put in place monitoring and evaluation protocols, as well as articulated the parameters necessary for conducting periodic impact assessment of the programme.

IMPACT:
The consequent volunteer programme currently spans across 25 States and has become self-replenishing with minimum intervention of the chamber, while ensuring that the objectives are being met on an ongoing basis.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A pan-India social sector organisation sought our assistance in improving the quality of data used by it for the purpose of making policy recommendations to the Government of India.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers engaged with the organisation to understand their existing data collection strategy and internal bandwidth for expanding research capacities to develop low-touch, broad based data collection nodal points across eighteen Indian States. Our work included digitising data collection efforts, as well as centralising data reception and storage to ensure a live review of the quality and quantum of data collected. We also helped develop nodal partnerships which allowed the organisation to tap into the networks of their partners without the need for increasing its own internal resources. Additionally, we undertook sensitisation trainings for all on-boarded partners, to ensure that the overall quality of the data received improves from the ground level up.

IMPACT:
Our efforts increased the overall response rate by ten times and ensured that most of the received data was of the desired quality, which improved both the veracity and relevance of their policy recommendations.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A B2C technology-based company sought our assistance in improving their customer service function which was identified by their management as being responsible for stymying their growth.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers conducted a step-by-step comprehensive overhaul of the company’s customer service function and developed a self-learning tool for all customer service representatives at the company. The overhaul included revamping the entire team from the leadership to the supervisors, to ensure that at each stage, there was complete control over the hiring and monitoring of their direct reporting line. The self-learning tool was developed as an amalgam of induction, training and troubleshooting documentation, which allowed for familiarity with the process right through the representatives' time with the company.

IMPACT:
Our intervention systematically ensured that this transition, as a result of the overhaul, was seamless, and that the eventual system tangibly improved the overall customer experience with the company’s products and services.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
An indigenous food company that was primarily focussed on selling ready-to-eat products wanted to set up a restaurant with a similar ethos as its products.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers helped translate the company’s ethos into a casual dining experience and thereafter assisted in the actual setting up of the restaurant, streamlining their operations, and increasing footfall. Our services included menu engineering, space utilisation, process flows and staff training with an aim to inculcate indigenous expertise in all of these activities while also ensuring efficiencies through the right blend of modern technology and traditional best practices. We further assisted the company to devise outreach programmes for the restaurant to develop a loyal patronage.

IMPACT:
As a consequence of the strategy we deployed for the restaurant and the execution thereof, the restaurant has established itself as a comfort-food option for patrons that reside in its vicinity and as a speciality option with those from afar.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A health food brand that had reached stagnation with respect to its online sales required a strategy to re-ignite its online sales growth without having to dramatically increase its marketing costs.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers expanded the number of points of sale for the brand and parallelly worked on improving the quality of the existing listings to maximise the potential of the sales platforms to boost sales organically. This required an overhaul of the brand positioning, pricing strategy, discount strategy, and the product release calendar to ensure a balance between the desirability of the products and their affordability. Our work also included removing all avoidable encumbrances to the sales process including, regulatory compliances and maintaining a high seller score on third party aggregation platforms.

IMPACT:
The brand has now exceeded the pace of growth that it had achieved prior to the stagnation and is now looking at doubling its current product line.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A manufacturing company required assistance for standardising its remuneration structure across multiple locations for both, its blue-collar and white-collar employees.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers conducted an audit of the company’s existing practices across all its locations and created a uniform remuneration management plan for the company that incorporated both, current practices as well as best practices from the industry. In order to achieve this standardisation, detailed parameters for determining pay scales were devised and automated to avoid personal biases, while allowing for performance related differentials in the form of incentives and year on year increments. In order to implement the new structure, communication and coordination was streamlined between the HR, Accounts and Regulatory departments of the company wherein both individual and group trainings were imparted for all relevant members.

IMPACT:
The new structure has empowered the management to make structured decisions on remuneration and at the same time has increased the efficiencies of the HR and Accounts departments in the company.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A well-established business with offices in Delhi and Mumbai had an urgent requirement to open a new office in Bengaluru to cater to potential clients in the city whose business was contingent on the company’s presence in Bengaluru.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers ensured that this strategic expansion was complete within a three-month period without compromising on ensuring that the new office is at par with the existing offices in terms of size, quality, and capability. This end-to-end project included identifying office space, onboarding resources, creating a business plan with budgets, and integrating operations with the other offices. Additionally, a robust local management team was deployed to ensure that the new office would continue to develop and make the most of this new set-up.

IMPACT:
The company was successful in not only procuring business from the potential clients that it had identified in advance, but also from additional clients that the established set-up was able to reach out to.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A textile-based family business sought to realign their top management’s vision and strategy to allow for both, sustainability and continuity of their business, as well as a smooth shift in responsibilities and authority within the ownership.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers devised a six-step realignment strategy which incorporated conversations focused on each of the critical verticals of the business, as well as the overarching principles upon which the business was established and sought to be continued. As part of this strategy, meetings were coordinated with each member of the family individually and in smaller working groups to ensure that the all-members' meetings were organised post such discussions for focussed, decision-oriented interactions.

IMPACT:
As a consequence of these meetings, the business has achieved higher levels of coordination and communication amongst top management, focussed actions, and the creation of a conducive working environment for all the non-family members of the business as well.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A services firm that had recently exponentially expanded from being a forty-employee organisation to employing over hundred resources, sought to develop and deploy an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to manage their growth.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers undertook this assignment on a turn-key basis right from preparing the RFP, shortlisting developers, and facilitating coordination with the developer to module approvals, beta testing, and the deployment and implementation of the ERP. Our work also included stress testing the software for bugs, data transfer management, as well as the strategic integration of the software with the KRAs and SOPs already in place to allow for adoption.

IMPACT:
The successful implementation of the ERP has aided the expansion of the business by allowing for centralisation, accurate tracking, and simplified process flows leading to increased efficiencies across board.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
An independent designer seeking to convert their business into a multi-city establishment sought our assistance for the setting up a company and ensuring ease of operations.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers focused its efforts towards creating short, mid, and long-term plans for the company including the formulation of standardised policies and the automation of management across activities such as communication, billing, and invoicing, amongst others. Our work also included setting up the management team and providing them with the requisite training to help them work cohesively and in line with the long-term plan based on Founder's vision.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A home décor manufacturing exports company required assistance with improving its production efficiencies and logistics to increase the profit margin on products.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers created a point-by-point production and logistics plan for the company which was aimed at reducing redundancies and increasing the speed of transition between each stage of production. As part of this, we identified all the chokepoints that existed in current processes and developed detailed operating procedures and executed training for members without hampering production during this transition. Similar operating procedures for logistics were also created and additional third-party dependencies were reduced to ensure improved control over timelines of the company.

IMPACT:
As a result of the introduced efficiencies, the company was able to reduce both the cost of production and logistics, which collectively improved its bottom-line significantly.

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
A policy think-tank sought our assistance to further its endeavour to allow for increased investment in sporting initiatives through the funds available for CSR with Corporate India.

SOLUTION:
TriChambers provided research, drafting, and strategic assistance for mobilising policy recommendations from different stakeholders in order to ensure that a unified approach was adopted for increasing the probability of the government incorporating these suggestions. As part of this exercise, on-ground and survey-driven research was conducted, and multiple models were examined from across the world, as well as from within India for determining the most appropriate direction for representation.

IMPACT:
Our work, along with that done by other contributors and organisations resulted in the expansion of sporting activities covered under CSR and has consequently increased the overall money available for Sport through CSR.
